3. Customer Responsibilities

Customers must back up their data before any work is undertaken. Greenville IT Consulting is not liable for any data loss or damage arising from failure to back up data.

Customers must disclose any known issues or pre-existing conditions with their devices before service begins.
4. Liability Waiver

Greenville IT Consulting will not be held accountable for any damage caused by fire, theft, accident, or other causes beyond our control.

Customers agree to waive any liability and hold Greenville IT Consulting harmless in the event of data loss, fire, theft, accident, or other causes beyond our control.
5. Confidentiality

Greenville IT Consulting respects customer privacy and is committed to handling all personal information and data with confidentiality.

Any data accessed during services will not be disclosed to third parties, except as required by law.
6. Diagnostics and Estimates

A diagnostic fee of $89 may be charged to assess the issue with your system.

This fee is nonrefundable but may be credited toward service costs if the customer proceeds.

A detailed estimate will be provided before any work begins.
7. Payment Terms
To ensure a smooth and secure transaction, we have established the following payment terms:
Project Charges

Project charges are billed in two installments: 50% upfront before work begins. 50% upon completion of deliverables and final client approval.
Monthly Fees

Monthly fees for ongoing services (e.g., website maintenance, IT support contracts) will be billed in full at the beginning of each month.
Service Charges

Charges for third-party services (e.g., domain registration, email hosting) are typically paid directly by the client. However, we can manage these payments on your behalf using your credit card details.
8. Late Payment Policy

Payment is due on the due date specified on the invoice.

Any payment not received within 30 days of the due date will incur a late fee of 5% of the outstanding balance per month (or the maximum amount permitted by law).

If payment remains outstanding beyond 60 days, Greenville IT Consulting reserves the right to suspend services until the account is brought current.

Continued non-payment may result in legal action or referral to a third-party collection service, with all associated costs being the responsibility of the client.
9. Modifications
Greenville IT Consulting reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of South Carolina.
