3. Customer responsibilities

Clients are responsible for maintaining current backups of their data. Greenville IT Consulting is not liable for data loss arising from a failure to maintain backups, though we're glad to set up and manage backups on your behalf.

Clients agree to provide accurate information about their environment so we can scope and perform work correctly.

4. Liability waiver

Greenville IT Consulting will not be held accountable for any damage caused by fire, theft, accident, or other causes beyond our control.

Customers agree to waive any liability and hold Greenville IT Consulting harmless in the event of data loss, fire, theft, accident, or other causes beyond our control.

5. Confidentiality

Greenville IT Consulting respects customer privacy and is committed to handling all personal information and data with confidentiality. Any data accessed during services will not be disclosed to third parties, except as required by law.

6. Scope and estimates

Before any paid work begins, we provide a clear scope and a detailed estimate. Project work is quoted up front, and ongoing services are billed on a simple monthly basis, with no surprise charges.

7. Payment terms

To ensure a smooth and secure transaction, we have established the following payment terms:

Project charges

Project charges are billed in two installments: 50% upfront before work begins, and 50% upon completion of deliverables and final client approval.

Monthly fees

Monthly fees for ongoing services (for example, managed IT or security monitoring contracts) will be billed in full at the beginning of each month.

Service charges

Charges for third-party services (for example, domain registration or email hosting) are typically paid directly by the client. However, we can manage these payments on your behalf using your credit card details.

8. Late payment policy

Payment is due on the due date specified on the invoice.

9. Modifications

Greenville IT Consulting reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of South Carolina. For any questions regarding payments or services, please contact us at [email protected].
